  • Portland has a pretty good public transportation system in place. Click the arrow below to go to the Tri Met website

    • ​$100 unlimited monthy pass, $2.50 per ride, $5 for a day of unlimited rides. 

  • Bus, Bike, CarToGo (get the app)

  • Streetcar

    • Monthly street car pass is $40​

  • car is not required, just make sure to live near public transportation

    • if you do have a car parking is generally easy to find​


  • Start a groupme of people in studio who are going to the same city/state as you. Plan events with them even if you are not living with them!

  • Bumble has a BFF mode where you can purely just look for other people looking for friends and not relationships

  • Volunteer for local events or join a community sport
